Clacton Hospital

We are delivering the groundworks and external works for the new Urgent Treatment Centre at Clacton Hospital, along with extensions and alterations to the existing building. The works include foundation construction, drainage, service installations, hard landscaping, and the reconfiguration of external areas to support the expanded clinical facilities. As a subcontractor to MTX, we are coordinating closely with the main contractor and the wider design team to ensure smooth integration with the modular building programme.

The hospital site is extremely constrained, offering very limited space for materials, plant, and vehicle movement. To overcome this, we are sequencing the works in small, carefully managed phases, supported by just-in-time deliveries, strict logistics planning and constant communication with MTX and hospital estates. These measures ensure that all works progress safely and efficiently while maintaining access for hospital operations and emergency routes.
