This project involved the construction of a new standalone block to provide a dedicated special educational needs facility within a live school environment. The new building was designed to create a safe, supportive, and purpose-built space tailored to the specific needs of its users, while careful planning and coordination ensured the school remained fully operational throughout the works.
Located on a small, constrained site in London, the project presented several logistical and access challenges typical of working in the capital. Limited space, restricted deliveries, and close proximity to neighbouring properties required detailed programming and close collaboration with all stakeholders. Through careful management and a considered construction approach, the project was successfully delivered within these challenging urban constraints.
