Myriad Housing, Rutland Road

This project involved the design and construction of two new dwellings on a tight infill site in a well-established residential area of Chelmsford. Positioned between existing houses, the development required a sensitive and considered approach to ensure the new homes complemented their surroundings while maximising the limited space available.

Given the restricted access and close proximity of neighbouring properties, detailed planning was essential throughout the construction phase. Material deliveries were carefully managed and scheduled to minimise disruption to residents and maintain site safety, while close coordination with suppliers and contractors ensured the project progressed efficiently. Despite the constraints, the scheme successfully delivers two high-quality homes that enhance the local residential environment.
