This project involved the refurbishment of existing podiatry rooms, including the formation of a new external entrance to facilitate a future new-build modular corridor. The works required careful coordination to integrate the new access point with the existing building fabric, while ensuring the refurbished clinical spaces met current functional and regulatory requirements. In addition, the project included the installation of structural supports to existing RAAC panels, providing essential strengthening and long-term resilience to the structure.

All works were carried out within a live hospital environment, requiring a highly controlled and considerate approach to construction. The project took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, with strict procedures implemented to maintain safety, infection control, and continuity of healthcare services. Close collaboration with hospital staff ensured minimal disruption to day-to-day operations while delivering the project safely and successfully.
