We delivered the full infrastructure package for Zone 2 of Suffolk Business Park, constructing a new access road and all associated utility services to support future development. Our works also included the foundations, drainage, and external works for the new McDonald’s restaurant, covering service installations, hard landscaping, ducting, street lighting, footpaths, and car-parking areas. Working under a design-and-build contract, we advanced the detailed design alongside the novated consultant team and delivered all elements in line with the employer’s technical and planning requirements.

 

The project had strict, immovable dates for providing McDonald’s with access, drainage, utilities, and power, meaning key elements of the works had to be completed to a fixed sequence. Coordinating multiple statutory-service connections and ensuring all works aligned with planning conditions added further pressure to the programme. We met these challenges through detailed planning, proactive design coordination, early engagement with utility providers and close communication with Churchmanor—ensuring every milestone was achieved safely and on time.
