About the Role
We are looking for a skilled, reliable and customer-focused Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our dedicated team, providing reactive maintenance services across a wide range of client properties throughout Suffolk and occasionally further afield.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide reactive maintenance to key Clients across the region
- Maintain a positive working relationship with the end users and Clients
- Provide exceptional customer service and a friendly ‘can do’ attitude
- Provide quality workmanship
- Work within a fast paced but enjoyable and team focussed role
- Record all works completed using our CAFM systems to ensure good record keeping and efficient processing of works.
What We’re Looking For: Essential Skills & Experience
- Proficient in using technology and smart phones to record work undertaken
- Proficient in a variety of practical skills such as carpentry / plumbing / decorating
- A willingness to participate in our 1 in 5 on call rota
- An understanding of health and safety and ability to undertake works in accordance with risk assessments and method statements
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
- A proven ability to produce high quality workmanship
Preferred Qualifications
- A Full UK Driving Licence is essential with trade qualifications preferred but not essential
