The new 3 storey classroom block, living accommodation on the top floor and multi-use hall providing range of activities from amateur dramatics to cricket practice. This facility also benefited from the underfloor heating, hardwood flooring and acoustic panel ceiling.
For both phases a structural steel frame, precast concrete floors and stairs were utilised, with traditional slate to the curved phase 1 roof and zinc to the multi-use hall. Faceted aluminium windows to the clerestory level and aluminium windows and doors to the remaining building was then clad in Siberian Larch.
